Terms of Service

Last updated

Atty is in private development. These terms describe what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. They’re deliberately short, and written to be accurate about where the product actually is.

Your account

You need an account to use Atty, and you’re responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password to yourself. Because sign‑in is not yet production‑grade — no two‑factor, no password reset — don’t reuse a password that protects anything else.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the information you give us at sign‑up should be true.

Your content stays yours

Documents, photographs, notes and records you put into Atty belong to you. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us permission to store and process that content for the purpose of running the product — including sending documents to our AI provider to be read, which is how the extraction described on the homepage works. That permission exists to operate Atty and for nothing else. See the Privacy page for specifics.

Only upload things you have the right to upload, and don’t use Atty for anything unlawful or to store someone else’s personal information without a reason to hold it.

What the product does and doesn’t promise

Atty helps you keep a record. It is not professional advice — not legal, building, electrical, structural, insurance or safety advice. Extraction from your documents is performed by an AI model and can be wrong, which is why suggestions are shown to you for confirmation rather than applied silently. Check anything that matters against the original document.

Do not treat Atty as your only copy of an important document. Keep the originals.

Availability

This is pre‑release software. It may be unavailable, features may change or be removed, and data may be migrated as the product develops. We have no way to contact you inside the product — there is no email, no notification and no announcement surface — so treat this page and the site as the notice. We can’t promise uninterrupted service at this stage, and we’re not offering a service level.

Ending it

You can stop using Atty whenever you like, and ask us to delete your data — see the Privacy page, including the parts that currently require us to do it by hand. We may suspend an account that’s being used unlawfully or in a way that endangers the service for others.

Liability

Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can’t be contracted out of. Subject to that, Atty is provided as it stands, and our liability for any claim connected to it is limited to resupplying the service or the amount you’ve paid us — which, during private development, is nothing.

Changes and contact

We’ll update these terms as the product changes, and the date at the top will tell you when. Continuing to use Atty after a change means you accept it. Australian law governs these terms.
